BOSTON–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Northern Trust Wealth Management announced today the expansion of its staff with the hiring of a new team member to the Foundation & Institutional Advisors (FIA) practice in the Northeast Region. Michael Collins joins Northern Trust as a Regional Director and Senior Vice President covering the New York, Connecticut and New England markets. Collins will be based in Boston.

Prior to joining Northern Trust, Collins served as a Senior Director at TIAA Endowment and Philanthropic Services. He also served as Regional Director in the Northeast markets for Russell Investments. Collins is a 26-year financial services veteran with a Finance degree from Georgetown University, a Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA) certification from Wharton School at University of Pennsylvania, and a Certified Private Wealth Advisor (CPWA) certification from University of Chicago Booth.
